Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Ohio Home Inspector License.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and flexible hours.
• Ability to be available for inspections with 24–48 hours’ notice.
• Career‑oriented mindset with a desire to grow professionally within our company.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
• Comfortable working independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs when conditions permit, enter attics and crawlspaces, and inspect properties for several hours each day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Not afraid of heights, confined spaces, or physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home inspections.
• Educate clients throughout the inspection process.
• Explain inspection findings in a professional and easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports using Spectora software.
• Take high‑quality inspection photographs.
• Represent Up Close Inspections with professionalism and integrity.
• Continue learning building science and inspection techniques.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.
