Job summary

Applegreen Group is seeking a Cashier/Associate to process customers in our retail store with a focus on service and Sales growth. You will maintain the facility while on duty to support customer satisfaction and store performance.

The role requires greeting customers, handling transactions, promoting sales, and keeping the area clean and organized. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Responds to customer inquiries or concerns within established guidelines.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and ensures cash control within company guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains the checkout area, cooler/freezers/equipment, displays and floors.
• Cleans and maintains external areas: sidewalks, drives, pump islands, displays, air and ice machines.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows safety policies and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
