Applegreen Group is seeking an Associate/Cashier for its express lane/pitt stop convenience stores in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on processing customers, maintaining the facility, and supporting sales growth with friendly service.

Key duties include greeting customers, operating the register, stock replenishment, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Open weekend/holiday availability is required; must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and helpful manner. Respond to inquiries or concerns within guidelines.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and ensure cash and inventory control within guidelines.
• Clean, stock and maintain checkout area, equipment, shelves, displays, floors and restrooms.
• Clean and maintain external areas: sidewalks, drives, pump islands, displays, air/ice machines; measure fuel tanks as needed.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store/company goals.
• Perform duties safely and follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
