Job summary

Applegreen Group is seeking an Associate/Cashier for our Express Lane / Pitt Stop Convenience Stores in South Carolina. You will greet customers, operate cash register, promote sales, and maintain cleanliness and stock levels while supporting store goals.

The role requires a friendly, customer-focused attitude, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. 18+ years old and GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and manage cash control per guidelines.
• Clean, stock and maintain registers, counters, displays, and restrooms.
• Inspect and maintain exterior areas including pump islands and sidewalks.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Follow safety policies and perform duties safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
