Job summary

Applegreen Group is seeking a Cashier/Associate for Express Lane at Pitt Stop Convenience Stores in SC. You will greet customers, process transactions, promote sales and maintain cleanliness and inventory to support customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Must be 18+, with open weekend/holiday availability and a flexible schedule. Prior experience in customer service is valued; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and ensures cash control within guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains check out area, equipment, shelves and displays.
• Cleans and stocks external property including sidewalks, drives and fuel islands.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
