Job summary

Restaurant Depot is seeking a reliable Cashier to handle customer transactions accurately at the front end. You will operate cash registers, process payments, issue receipts, and keep checkout areas tidy while maintaining high service standards.

Ideal candidates have prior retail cashier experience, basic PC skills, familiarity with POS systems, strong math, and excellent communication and time-management abilities to ensure swift, friendly checkout experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a retail cashier or in a similar sales role.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing and product accuracy.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and provide change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
