Job summary

Restaurant Depot is seeking a reliable Cashier to handle transactions accurately at our Front End. You will process payments, issue receipts, and maintain cash accuracy while delivering friendly service.

Candidates should have prior retail cash handling experience, know how to operate a cash register and POS, and be available for occasional evenings and weekends. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy, customer care, and teamwork within our union-supported, hourly

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with cash registers and POS.
• Good math skills and strong communication abilities.
• Customer satisfaction orientation and reliable time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing and product accuracy.
• Collect payments in cash, check, or credit and issue receipts.
• Provide change as necessary and resolve customer queries.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and assist customers as needed.
• Handle occasional shifts in evenings and weekends.
