Job summary

Rural King in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service and a positive shopping experience. You will process transactions, answer questions, promote programs, and support a clean, organized front end.

You’ll use POS systems, handle cash accurately, and coordinate with team members to resolve customer needs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using POS systems and other technology.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and follow procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately.
• Follow cash-handling procedures for returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Promote Rural King Loyalty Program and RK benefits.
• Maintain clean, stocked front-end areas and assist with other duties as needed.
• Coordinate with loaders and staff to address customer needs.
