Job summary

First American Bank, founded in Chicago and expanding across Wisconsin, Florida, and Illinois, seeks a part-time teller to handle customer transactions and deliver outstanding service. This hourly (non-exempt) role supports branch operations with cash handling, deposits, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities include managing the customer experience, balancing cash drawers, supporting branch sales, and ensuring security procedures. Shifts run 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cash handling experience.
• Professional communication with internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including customer transactions, processing cash advances, deposits, coin orders, and foreign currency.
• Balance teller cash drawer daily and reconcile deposits and withdrawals.
• Manage customer experience to ensure satisfactory service and appropriate resolutions.
• Collaborate with branch staff to deliver a cohesive customer experience and meet sales/referral goals.
• Balance and replenish ATMs, audit vaults and perform branch opening/closing procedures.
• Adhere to all policies and security procedures and participate in phone queues and after-hour meetings as needed.
