Job summary

Mercantile Bank of Michigan is seeking a Full-Time Teller to deliver exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately, and uphold bank policies on-site. You will manage a cash drawer, assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other services while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

You will promote self-service options, support branch goals, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services, while meeting sales targets and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash with accuracy and count cash back to customers.
• Clear and efficient communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to type and enter data accurately via computer systems.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash drawer and provide excellent customer service on a variety of transactions.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to the appropriate team member(s).
