Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI), whose retail division is Community Bank, N.A., operates 200+ facilities across Upstate New York and surrounding regions. A Teller role is described with emphasis on accuracy, customer service, and helping customers with everyday banking needs.

The position requires 25 hours per week, strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to security and compliance standards. Training and travel may be required to support branch operations and customer experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Attendance in a 5–7 day initial teller training program with travel covered by the company.
• Reliable transportation.
• Prior customer service or banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact and process routine financial transactions with accuracy and cash drawer balance.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and refer to branch specialists as needed.
• Support lobby management and respond to phone inquiries professionally.
• Maintain compliance with security procedures and company policies.
