Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-focused store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, handle deposits, and perform stocking and cashiering tasks to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

You will open and close the store several days a week, train employees, schedule shifts, enforce safety practices, and ensure accurate inventory and planogram compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail supervisory experience preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking and displays per planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages, and process paperwork.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control, deposits as needed.
• Assist with store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
