Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Team Member to support daily store operations, assist customers, and maintain merchandise presentation. You will handle cash register transactions and help stock shelves while keeping the store clean and inviting.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will contribute to a welcoming shopping environment and help promote the organization's mission of removing barriers to opportunity.

Qualifications

• Preferably previous retail and/or cashier work experience.
• Able to use a cash register, calculator, and credit card processing machine correctly and make change accurately.
• Able to demonstrate good judgment in recognizing items appropriate for sale.
• Able to follow instructions and comply with policies and procedures.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service on the sales floor.
• Stock shelves and rotate/display merchandise on the floor.
• Operate cash register and complete end-of-shift cash balancing.
• Maintain shop-ability with organized, clean, and attractive displays.
• Adhere to PCI compliance and store policies.
