Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness. The role supports the Store Manager in maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. The position involves greeting customers, handling purchases, unpacking and stocking items, and keeping displays organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Unpack, stock, restock, rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving room.
• Assist with sidewalk displays and general store maintenance.
