Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock items, and keep the store clean. You’ll support the Store Manager to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to follow safety policies and operate cash handling procedures.
• Capable of reading planograms and merchandising guides.
• Experience with cash registers and basic math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner, process payments and bag items.
• Stock, restock, rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with opening/closing duties.
