Job summary

Break Time is hiring Sales Associates in Sedalia, MO. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock merchandise, and help with food preparation while following all policies to ensure smooth operations during your shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer-service oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler's Card or equivalent certifications.
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler and freezer.
• Ability to stand for up to nine hours per shift.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers consistently and provide fast, friendly service and accurate transactions.
• Perform merchandising activities, price checks, promotions, stocking and fronting of merchandise.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Work as a team to serve customers while following regulations and store policies.
• Operate store technology, perform change calculations, and complete shift reports.
• Assist management and train new employees on policies and procedures.
• Follow food service guidelines, inspect products for time/temperature, and prepare items.
• Keep the store clean and well-maintained, including equipment and displays.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
