Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company operates Break Time convenience stores in Missouri. Break Time Sales Associates assist customers, process sales, and perform operational and food preparation duties to keep the store clean and well stocked while following company policies and procedures to ensure proper and efficient operation during the scheduled shift.

Sales Associates are energetic individuals who believe it only takes a moment to make your day better.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer-service oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use computers.
• Food handler's training or equivalent certifications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to nine hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service; conduct accurate transactions.
• Merchandising: pricing, promotions, stocking, and proper store presentation.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Work as a team to serve customers while adhering to regulations and store operations.
• Operate the store's technology including POS systems and perform shift reports.
• Train new employees on policies and procedures; assist with loss-control tasks.
• Follow guidelines for food preparation; ensure correct time/temperature and proper display.
• Maintain a clean environment and proper product display and storage.
• Adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
