Job summary

Duchess is hiring for a Team Member (Cashier) in our retail locations. You’ll welcome customers, handle transactions, keep the store tidy, stock shelves, and follow safety rules for restricted items while promoting our Crown Card Rewards.

We value flexibility, customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Prior retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused mindset and friendly demeanor.
• Basic math and cash-handling proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
• Experience in retail or food service is a plus.
• Comfort with technology and modern POS tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store-inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to help customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
• Other physical duties include walking, standing, lifting, and reaching.
