Job summary

Duchess is seeking a friendly cashier to join the Duchess Team Member for second shift. You will welcome customers, process transactions, and keep the store tidy while promoting our Crown Card Rewards program.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, comfort with modern POS tools, and a collaborative attitude in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility for FT or PT and varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and balance registers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions using POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards and loyalty program
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
