Job summary

GPM Investments' Market Express store on Providence Rd in Charlotte is hiring a friendly Cashier/Sales Associate. You will greet customers, operate the register accurately, and help keep the store clean and safe in all weather.

Responsibilities include upselling when appropriate, handling lottery and age‐restricted sales with proper verification, stocking shelves, and supporting other departments as needed. Weekends and holidays required; full-time and part-time roles available.

Qualifications

• English proficiency including reading, writing and speaking.
• Basic math skills and cash register accuracy.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Sell lottery, cigarette, and alcohol with proper age verification.
• Upsell when appropriate to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves and assist in deli or other departments as needed.
