Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
• Able to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Friendly, positive demeanor and welcoming attitude
• Detail-oriented and reliable in a fast-paced store environment
• Flexible to take on various tasks as needed
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and handle the register accurately and quickly
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age-verification compliance
• Offer friendly service and upsell when appropriate to increase sales
• Keep store interior and exterior clean and safe, including restrooms and pump area
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain freshness and appeal
• Sweep, mop, and maintain entryways and windows; organize the store
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player
