GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, run the register, and uphold store cleanliness in Maple Hill, NC. You’ll handle lottery and restricted sales with proper age verification, upsell where appropriate, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

Flexibility for weekends/holidays is valued; experience in retail or customer service is a plus, with on‑the‑job training available. The role offers opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is welcomed, but not required.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication in English (read, write, speak).
• Basic math skills required for transactions.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales when appropriate.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves and displays to maintain fresh appearance.
• Cross-train in other departments such as deli as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
