You will learn lottery, cigarette and alcohol sales, handle restrooms, pumps, and trash, stock shelves, and be willing to cross-train in other departments. The role rewards reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills required: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Ability to perform basic store responsibilities including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with compliance.
• Upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain merchandise appearance.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help where needed.
