Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking dependable Sales Associates who keep our stores clean, welcoming, and safe while serving customers at the register. You’ll ensure compliance with age verification for lottery, tobacco, and alcohol and contribute to friendly, efficient service.

You’ll perform light housekeeping, stock and merchandise duties, and may cross-train in other departments like deli. Weekend and holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written English communication is essential.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
Learn lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with compliance to age-verification and laws.
Offer friendly service and upsell when appropriate to increase sales.
Keep store clean and safe inside and out, including restrooms, pumps, and surrounding areas.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh, full merchandise.
Be willing to cross-train in other departments and follow safety procedures.
