Job summary

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol with age verification compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Maintain clean and safe store interior and exterior, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
• Keep the store clean and organized; sweep, mop, windows, entryways.
• Be cross trained in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
