Break Time Sales Associates assist customers, process sales transactions and perform operational and food preparation duties necessary to keep the Break Time convenience store clean and well stocked while following all company policies and procedures to ensure proper and efficient operation during the scheduled shift. Sales Associates are energetic individuals who believe it only takes a moment to make your day better.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate a computer/office equipment.
• Food safety training and obtaining a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers, provide fast and friendly service, conduct accurate transactions.
• Merchandise and stock to keep store front stocked, clean, and properly displayed, including cooler items.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management.
• Work as a team to serve customers while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Use store technology including POS systems, desktops, laptops, and handheld devices; perform change calculations and shift reporting.
• Assist training new employees on policies and procedures; support loss control measures for cash handling and inventory.
• Follow food service guidelines and prep processes with proper temperatures and cleanliness.
