Job summary

Break Time Sales Associates at MFA Petroleum Company help customers, process transactions, and perform operating and food preparation duties to keep Break Time stores clean and stocked. You’ll follow policies during your scheduled shift and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast and friendly service; conduct accurate and efficient transactions
• Merchandising: price, promotions, stocking, cleanliness fronting and facing all merchandise
• Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, other employees, and management
• Work as a team to serve customers while adhering to regulations and store operations
• Utilize point of sale systems and count products; perform shift reports
• Train new employees on policies and procedures; loss control related to cash handling, lottery, food waste, and merchandise Sales
