The Kroger Co. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience in-store. This role emphasizes answering questions, suggesting products, and offering samples to help customers discover items.

You will ensure product freshness, label and stock merchandise, and support department goals while upholding food safety and safety standards. You will interact with customers to resolve questions, keep shelves organized, and assist with daily operations, including

Responsabilités

• Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and respond to questions with product suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of dairy specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered.
• Recommend items to ensure customers get what they want and need.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness; review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to store management.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks.
