Job summary

Spec's Family Partners in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Front-End Associate to assist guests at the register, process transactions, and promote add-ons and discounts. You will follow cash-handling procedures and maintain a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

The role requires excellent customer service, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment while upholding company standards and helping keep the store well-organized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of basic math for cash transactions.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and offer the Specs Key and discount where applicable.
• Operate cash register and look up products to access UPC codes or prices.
• Ensure accurate pricing by scanning barcodes and handling coupons.
• Suggest add-on items and promote the charity of the month.
• Maintain a clean, organized register area and stock as needed.
• Handle all cash transactions, issue receipts, and balance the till.
