Qualifications

• Cashier experience and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong math and basic arithmetic for discounts and totals.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor with guests.
• Must maintain valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit and Food Handlers Permit where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register or electronic scanner and process payments.
• Greet guests, upsell add-on items, and mention charity of the month.
• Scan UPC codes, verify pricing, and apply discounts as needed.
• Bag merchandise and maintain clean checkout area.
• Check IDs when required and ensure compliance with store policies.
• Accurately count cash and balance drawer at shift end.
• Assist with carry-outs and stock shelves as needed.
• Collaborate with team to provide extraordinary service.
