Job summary

You will greet customers, scan orders, manage payments, and help with bagging, price checks, and safety compliance while following Food Lion policies. A high school diploma | strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Greet each customer and uses his or her name whenever possible
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt to ease bagging
• Scan customers' order and handle the payment transaction, per standard practice
• Follow procedures for refunds and error correction
• Maintain accurate cash control
