Englefield, Inc. is hiring a Cashier - Duchess Team Member for FT and PT swing shifts at our Newark, OH location. We’re seeking friendly, motivated individuals who love helping others and delivering a great customer experience.

You’ll handle transactions, maintain a clean store, stock shelves, promote rewards, and use modern POS systems. Prior retail or food service experience is a plus; reliability and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards and loyalty program benefits.
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
