The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a part-time Cashier/Checker at our Brighton, CO store to deliver outstanding customer service and fast, accurate checkout experiences. • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction) required.
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders (cash, cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) per policy.
• Maintain loss prevention by following cash handling guidelines.
• Adhere to policies on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupons/postage/gift card procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; ensure food safety compliance.
• Support safety programs and identify unsafe conditions for management.
