Theisen's Home Farm Auto in Newton, IA is seeking a friendly Cashier for a temporary assignment. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, answer questions, and help with store upkeep and light bookwork.

Requirements include 3–12 months of cashier or retail experience, strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This position supports our busy store team with a positive, customer-first approach.

• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to do basic math, and light bookwork
• Reliable, presentable and patient

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and invite into cashier lane
• Perform cash register functions proficiently
• Direct customers to merchandise location or request additional help as needed
• Answer customers’ in-person or telephone questions within established guidelines
• Handle customer returns/exchanges and process rainchecks
• Stock shelves and assist with store upkeep
