Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to be the first and last interaction for customers, delivering exceptional service as they greet, check out, handle returns, and assist with basic cash-office functions.

This role offers both full-time and part-time positions. Responsibilities include greeting customers, suggesting products, processing checkout with POS, handling refunds, opening/closing registers, stocking merchandise, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Interact with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.
• Open and close registers.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.

• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
• Be able to create price tags and merchandise signs.
