Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the POS system and handle tenders per policy.
• Follow company policies for cash handling, shortages, and overages; prevent loss.
• Maintain adherence to guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator; stay current with ads and promotions.
