Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Cashier in Plano, TX to greet customers and process purchases accurately in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide information to customers while maintaining a clean checkout area and supporting stocking duties as needed.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with 1–2 years cashiering experience, excellent numeracy, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and positive attitude with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong numeracy for cash handling and counting.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change; resolve customer questions.
• Follow front end procedures; assist with stocking, facing, and dusting.
• Maintain clean, orderly checkout areas and communicate with front end manager.
