Job summary

Cavender's is hiring a cashier to deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting customers, processing transactions, and assisting with merchandise needs. You will maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong communication, honesty in cash handling, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to accurately operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate must be able to read and understand English.
• Associate must be able to stay alert and productive during assigned work hours.
