Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle various payment methods (cash, checks, card, SNAP EBT, WIC) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and prevent loss.
• Follow restrictions on restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies.
• Stay updated with current and upcoming ads.
• Follow food safety regulations.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of needed repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products and store services.
• Adhere to all laws and company guidelines.
