Johnny’s is hiring Crew Members to be the face of our Michigan-based convenience stores. You’ll greet customers, handle cash at the register, and help with coffee and food to create a welcoming shopping experience in our community.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously with customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to accurately count cash and make change.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach horizontally and above the shoulder, grasp, and push buttons.
• Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs., and frequently carry weights up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service at the checkout.
• Listen to customer requests or concerns and relay them to management.
• Operate the cash register and give customers proper change.
• Request personal ID for alcohol or tobacco purchases as required by law.
• Follow directions to prepare coffee and food to spec.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Perform housekeeping to keep the store clean.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
