Job summary

CoLab is hiring a Software Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers in Cincinnati, delivering high-impact, technically complex projects. You’ll scope, build, and deploy integrations and AI-enabled features that connect customer systems to CoLab, accelerating adoption and ROI.

You’ll own the delivery of key initiatives, working with customer success, product, design, and engineering to remove blockers and achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

Based in Cincinnati and onsite.
Delivered complex technical solutions where requirements were not clearly defined.
Wrote clean production-grade code in a variety of languages.
Comfortable working in unfamiliar environments—technically and organizationally.
Experience with enterprise systems (data lakes, IdP, PLM, ERP).

Responsibilities

Own delivery of strategic customer projects from discovery to production deployment and success metrics.
Build and deploy complex system integrations, backend services, and data pipelines.
Interface with enterprise systems such as data lakes, IdP, PLM, and ERP solutions.
Stand up CoLab integrations and organize incoming data for features.
Collaborate directly with customers to understand needs, propose solutions, and drive adoption.
Develop targeted solutions aligning with broader customer base.
Bring customer requirements back to the development team for learning.
