Job summary

PhoenixAI, formerly CelerData, is seeking a Database Support Engineer in Menlo Park, CA. You will be the ongoing technical point of contact for customers, guiding onboarding, deployment, adoption, and long-term success as part of a post-sales team.

You will support presales with PoCs, document outcomes, and collaborate across Sales and Engineering. The role emphasizes deep data analytics knowledge, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset to drive value for enterprise clients

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support, customer success, or engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with OLAP workloads, query optimization, and data modeling (star/snowflake).
• Proficiency in SQL and distributed data processing concepts.
• Familiar with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and deployment guidance to ensure production realization of sales-cycle solutions.
• Drive product adoption, resolve technical issues, and identify expansion opportunities post-sale.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and articulate business and technical constraints clearly.
• Monitor technical health, troubleshoot production issues, and propose architecture/configuration improvements.
• Assist with PoC design/execution for presales and document evaluations for product feedback.
