Job summary

Databricks is seeking Solution Architects to drive adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform. In a customer-facing role, you will partner with customers, sales, and post-sales teams to architect and implement solutions using Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas.

You will deliver proofs of concept, reference architectures, and training, travel to customer sites, and become a trusted advisor in cloud data ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Top Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to show how Databricks can solve business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture, proofs of concept, data science/ML projects, and integrations with cloud services.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demo apps for customers.
