Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who loves building and enjoys working directly with customers. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and the customer, building backend integrations and data pipelines to make the product work inside enterprise environments.

You’ll collaborate with technical stakeholders before and after the sale, bringing SWE experience and strong Python/SQL skills to bear in a fast-growing startup setting in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years’ experience, ideally at an enterprise AI company.
• Background as a Software Engineer, FDE, or technical founder with SWE experience.
• Strong Python and SQL, with a track record building integrations and data pipelines.
• Experience in B2B SaaS supporting technical customer relationships (pre- or post-sale).
• Experience at an early-stage startup, high-growth scale-up or enterprise tech.
• A solid run of roles with real depth, ideally 1+ year in each.
• CS degree from a top programme is a plus.
