Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Value Acceleration Engineer to drive direct customer deployments of an enterprise automation product within Salesforce AI Labs. You will write code, work alongside customers, and deploy workflows into production as part of an early product within a startup-like environment.

In this role, you’ll build direct customer solutions, write custom JavaScript tools, and ensure reliable automation across browsers, applications like SAP/Oracle/Workday, and backend services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering or customer-facing deployments.
• Proven ability to write and debug JavaScript/TypeScript and reason about web apps, APIs, and data flow.
• Experience leading complex deployments with customers and aligning stakeholders on product scope.

Responsibilities

• Write custom JavaScript tools when existing capabilities cannot complete a task.
• Debug failures across browser behavior, agent execution, application state, and backend services.
• Build tests for business outcomes, exceptions, partial completion, and recovery.
• Help launch and stabilize workflows, documenting monitoring and recovery procedures and establish support ownership.
