Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Teller to serve customers with accuracy and courtesy in daily banking transactions. You will handle cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist with transfers and loan payments within a secure, compliant environment.

The role emphasizes providing exceptional client experiences, balancing cash drawers, and supporting cross-selling of bank products. A high school diploma or GED and cash-handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required and 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Handle a cash drawer with proper control and adhere to audit and security policies.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, municipal coupons, money orders, etc.).
Assist in balancing and processing of ATM transactions daily.
Assist with vault responsibilities and night deposits as needed.
Ensure compliance with bank regulations, policies, risk management and ethics codes.
Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve client issues.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to the appropriate team.
