Job summary

Family Dollar is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Lancaster, TX. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help keep the store organized and stocked. You’ll protect cash, unload deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment for everyone.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. A friendly, professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
