Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and ensure the store is safe, clean, and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working a cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
