Job summary

Family Dollar in Aberdeen, SD is looking for a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient help at the register and on the floor. You will assist customers, process transactions, and keep shelves stocked and clean.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; part-time hours are available with a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
