Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support a positive shopping experience at our Mission, South Dakota store. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help stock and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to procedures, and safe handling of merchandise, with part-time hours and a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar sectors preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
